Punta Secca is a typical fishing village located in the municipality of Santa Croce Camerina.
The beaches are free and bounded by low cliffs; It crowded during July and August. Of particular interest is the Lighthouse of Punta Secca high about 35 meters built by the Bourbon government and designed in 1857 by Eng. Diliberto Nicolo D'Anna.
The village was made known by the fact that Punta Secca has been the place of a television series which Montalbano Inspector and Montalbano Young. The house of Salvo Montalbano is in fact located in a small house by the sea, in the village.
