Kamarina or Camarina , in greek Καμαρίνα , whose name according to Strabone means " lived after much fatigue" , was an important colony of Syracuse , founded and built by the Syracusans, at the mouth of the river Ippari in the south of Sicily . Of it today there are only ruins and important archaeological finds , mainly on Cammarana hill in the town of Ragusa territory.
